Axopar 29

I produktion 2024–nu Formgiven av Jarkko Jamsen / Navia Design

The Axopar 29 is the successor to the 28, a 9.31 m GRP outboard day boat announced at Cannes in September 2023 and premiered at boot Dusseldorf in January 2024. It has a 3.0 m beam, a 400-litre fuel tank and a cabin with two berths and an optional toilet. It is CE category B and C, taking a single engine to 400 hp or twins to 500 hp total from model year 2026.

The 29 replaced the 28 on a new hull that is barely longer on a like-for-like basis - 9.31 m against the 28's 9.2 - but noticeably beamier at 3.0 m, which is what Axopar meant in describing it as bigger while weighing almost the same. Fuel rises sharply to 400 litres, and the CCX variant carries 600.

Engine ratings need care. The owner's manual plates a maximum recommended single engine of 400 hp (298 kW), and from model year 2026 adds a twin option of 2 x 250 hp; the website's '300-500 hp' is total installed power with twins, not a single-engine figure. The 500 hp loaded here is that maximum total.

Draft is 0.93 m to the props per the manual, against 1.05 m on the current website; the manual is preferred. Weight is Axopar's 2800 kg excluding engine with average options, where the manual's ISO hull weight is 2467 kg - different bases rather than a contradiction.
